Job Description Summary

The GE Gas Power, OnSite Services team (OSS), has an open position for a highly motivated individual who will provide strategic and operational leadership to develop the business growth strategy and enhance fulfillment of On-Site Repairs, On-Site Machining and Inspection activities. He/She will be working closely with the regions, commercial teams, Field Core, operations and support functions.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
•Developing and owning relationships with Gas Power, Steam Power & FieldCore key stakeholders.
•Work very closely with Global OSS Leaders to drive operational excellence.
•Establish and drive the OSS business growth strategy.
•Responsible for developing the OSS long range forecast, assist OSS leaders with resource forecasting and execution to meet customer & business metrics.
• Working with OSS Resource Managers, develop & execute short & long range resource plans based on forecast & business commitments/opportunities.
•Provide effective team leadership by driving for excellence in the key areas of Environmental Health & Safety, Quality execution, on-time customer fulfillment, effective cost control, and overall repair and inspection productivity.
•Establish and maintain a strong business operating rhythm to ensure world class fulfillment and business growth.
• Provide leadership to ensure business meets financial goals by working with the OSS Resource Leaders to drive unassigned time and utilization.

 •Partner with FieldCore tooling operations to forecast and meet customer commitments.
•Maintain compliance to all GE policies and quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent 10+ years of experience in power generation

• Project management experience

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $119,600-$199,400 USD Annually.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Annual Incentive (AIP) bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
