You’ll be joining our Cloud Enablement & Engineering Crew, who are a team of some of the smartest engineers in Australia.    As we’re invested in building world class digital application and services to our customers, we’re now building a new team to drive our Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cloud capabilities.

As our Senior Staff Platform Engineer, you’ll be a hand’s-on technical leader with expertise in designing and building complex, scalable and secure AI, Machine Learning software solutions.  Partnering with senior stakeholders in the Crew, you’ll develop strategies and implement Model Quality Assurance & Model Performance Monitoring. Utilise advanced machine learning techniques to develop and train generative AI models on AWS, and be across the latest advancements in Gen AI, ML, and deep learning techniques to integrate into our products and service.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Can bring their expertise in Gen AI Models (LLMs, GANs, RL and RAG)

• Deliver innovative solutions using Gen AI technologies

• Show a thorough understanding of ML and deep learning principles and algorithms

• Are experienced with cloud platforms, ideally AWS

• Code in multiple languages including Python, and enjoy working with machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn)

• Work with large datasets, with knowledge of Data Pre-Processing Techniques

Tech skills  

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; 

• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++

• AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Rekognition, and Comprehend

• Docker or Kubernetes

• DevOps practices and tools such as Github Actions, Jenkins, Terraform
