An RPA Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex robotic process automation (RPA) solutions, utilizing industry-standard RPA tools to automate repetitive business tasks, requiring strong analytical skills, experience with agile methodologies, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities across an organization. 

Key responsibilities:

• Automation Design and Development:

Analyze business processes, identify automation potential, and design efficient RPA workflows using industry-standard RPA tools like Blue Prism, UiPath or Automation Anywhere. 

• Technical Implementation:

Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots, including data mapping, screen scraping, API integrations, and error handling mechanisms. 

• Process Optimization:

Continuously monitor and refine existing automations to ensure optimal performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements. 

• Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with business users, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide technical guidance. 

• Documentation:

Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed automations, including user guides and process flow diagrams. 

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Investigate and resolve issues arising from RPA deployments, providing ongoing support and maintenance. 

Required Skills:

• Proficient in RPA Tools:

Extensive experience with at least one leading RPA platform (Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) 

• Programming Knowledge:

Basic understanding of programming languages like .NET, Java, or Python for advanced automation scenarios 

• Business Analysis:

Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities 

• Agile Development:

Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative development practices 

• Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and resolve technical challenges effectively 

• Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field 
• Proven track record of successfully implementing RPA projects in a complex environment 
• Experience with data manipulation, database interactions, and web services integration 
• Knowledge of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies 
• Familiarity with cloud-based RPA platforms
• Working knowledge of Blue Prism products is a plus
