Within the first line of accountability reporting to the CEO of CBA NV we have an exciting new opportunity.

Do work that matters:

This opportunity is for an experienced and all round 1st line Non-Financial Risk, Conduct and Regulatory Change Senior Manager who will work closely with the business locally and internationally as well as with the local 1st line Operational Risk Manager and the second line risk and compliance teams providing independent review and advice, monitoring oversight of business activities including its risk and controls. In the role you will focus on the following tasks:

  • Oversee and drive the major EU regulatory change implementations (ESG, CRD6, CRR3, Mifir, Mifid and liaise with CBA Group first line stakeholders on regulatory change implementation;
  • Oversee and ensure first line regulatory compliance and provide project management with regards to regulatory changes;
  • Oversee and manage first line policy house and framework working closely with the local 1st line Operational Risk Manager and being able to cover when this resource is on leave;
  • Provide ad hoc project management and support to various regulatory change request and relevant engagements with the regulator;
  • Provide support to ensure first line regulatory compliance for new product implementation
  • Incident management of first line incidents and audit issues;
  • Support the business strategy from a first line compliance perspective.

We are interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Experience in a first line risk and change (compliance/operational risk and/or enterprise risk) role within an international bank, brokerage firm and/or consultancy firm and familiar with key concepts of credit risk, operational risk, and market risk;
  • First line expert in Mifid/trade reporting and cross border business facilitation compliance;
  • Experience in regulatory change;
  • Knowledge of EU prudential regulatory requirements and standards, including CRR, and evolving regulatory landscape in the field of Climate-related & Environmental (C&E) risk/ESG;
  • Expertise in governance from an operational risk and compliance point of view;
  • Experienced in drafting and maintaining risk framework and policy documents.
