Job Description:
Essential Job Functions
- Timely closure of activities associated with MEC, QEC and YEC
- Submitting MEC, QEC and YEC reports under controllership role as per group finance requirements and within strict timelines using SAP and BPC systems
- Variation analysis on MoM basis before and after the books close
- Balance sheet schedule reviews on monthly basis
- Financial analysis of Key GL accounts
- Ensuring delivery of key audit schedules for Group as well Indian GAAP audits
- Other requirements at legal entity level under various Indian laws including but not limited to Income tax, GST, Companies act and RBI act
- Review of Fixed asset registers and assist in physical verifications
- Review of Bank Reconciliations on weekly basis
- Collaborate with other functional areas like business, business finance, Tax & Compliance, Shared Services and Intra-department
- Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and the application of generally acceptable accounting principles.
- Should have sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
- Working knowledge of - SAP, BPC and proficient in MS Excel
Basic Qualifications and Skills
- Should be a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
- 2 - 3 years of accounting and/ or finance experience. Experience in finance controllership function will be given preference.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Working knowledge of - SAP, BPC and proficient in MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well organized with ability to prioritize
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach and high level of integrity
