JR68179 Staff/Senior Mechanical /Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

Strong FEA Engineering professional with over 13+ years of experience in  Electronics systems with success in the complete product life cycle from conceptual design to product delivery.

FEA modeling and analysis in electro-mechanical systems relating to static and dynamic loading in integrated computer systems. Provide stress and structural support to design based on given geometry model. Suggest solutions to stress, strain, shock, and vibration 

Detailed FEA simulations and analyses of electronic components using ANSYS 

Evaluate and validate design concepts to optimize the reliability and performance of electronic components under various operating conditions.

Design  test fixture design for Stress, shock & vibration testing, Design calculations and building the mechanical test setups

Good understanding of Tolerance Stack-up analysis, DFM/DFA concepts

Collaborate with design engineers to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the structural integrity and thermal performance of electronic components.
Generate comprehensive reports outlining analysis results, recommendations, and design modifications.

Skills:

Expertise in ANSYS software modules like Mechanical, Electronics Desktop modules and Sherlock

Strong understanding of structural mechanics and failure analysis methodologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications, work with suppliers, preparing reports develop test plans and submitting test reports with final recommendations

Experience is 3D modeling of sheet metal enclosures , PCB layout designs and validation would be added advantage.

Educational Qualification: BE/B.TECH or ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering
