Overview

IQVIA is providing our public health and consulting services to support our clients in development project.

To support various PH project and other initiatives, we are looking for additional member for the team as Public Health Consultant.

Under supervision of (Public Health) Associate Principal, the consultant is expected to deliver the below responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and managing execution of the activities

  • Shaping, conducting and interpreting data analysis

  • Conducting meetings and workshops with key stakeholders

  • Developing final output and deliverables

  • Contributing to the preparation, execution and follow up of client workshops

  • Taking responsibility for creating sections of reports, presentations and other client deliverables

  • Presenting to client audiences via teleconference or in face-to-face meetings

  • Specific to some project, the consultant may need to perform secondary data research and analysis

  • Specific to some project, the consultant may need to perform interview for primary data collection

Skills & Experience

  • Proven analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills

  • Good writing skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and an ability to build credibility with external and internal contacts

  • Good commercial awareness/business judgement and an interest in the healthcare industry

  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research will be desirable

  • Excellent IT literacy e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Good project management, time management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within timeline

  • A keenness to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve

  • A strong motivation to thrive in a client-focused, international team environment

Qualifications & Other requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public health project, INGO/NGO

  • Experience with donor funded project, most preferable familiar with USAID, Global Fund, World Bank, DFAT, UN Agencies or other global donor  

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic track record in public health, or life sciences, other health major, and/or experience in the health care industry

  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage

  • A strong commitment to high quality work and an interest in rapid learning and skill development
