The DXO Manager will have direct responsibility for the delivery of Operational Excellence Initiatives using applicable tools and methodologies including Automation and Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. The role will contribute to Next State Maturity Model (NSMM) strategic vision of transforming REPH into an innovation centre for RELX. DXO manager acts as a Scrum Leader who is responsible of orchestrating the end to end delivery of OPEX capability-building and initiatives including CI, JDI, RIE, Automation, Harmonization, CX and Agile. In addition, the role will directly support cultural change toward disciplined, data-driven problem solving. This requires good understanding of automation solutions and their business applications, strong process analysis and improvement experience. In addition to these skills the successful applicant will have first class relationship building & communication skills as the role engages with a range of stakeholder across the entire business.
Accountabilities:
Automation (RPA and AI)
Lead automation idea-generation workshops to build a healthy automation pipeline of ideas
Drive completion of automation projects by working collaboratively with automation practitioners, developers, champions, and stakeholders.
Maintain a list of automation opportunities and facilitate the prioritization by working collaboratively with automation leads, automation practitioners, developers, champions, and stakeholders.
Assess the need for additional automation trainings, capability-building and provide recommendations as necessary.
Provide mentoring support to automation practitioners, developers, and champions as applicable.
Effectively communicate in OPEX Forum the overall progress, risks, challenges and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
Communicate automation success stories through corporate communication, leadership meetings and other channels as appropriate to enable best practice sharing and community of practice
Reward and recognize automation project teams who successfully deliver projects (with validation of Finance team).
Be involved in the retrospective meetings to help improve the automation deployment.
Process Excellence and Lean Six Sigma:
Identify and organize enterprise-wide projects and initiatives to improve operational effectiveness of the organization
Partner with senior leaders and business partners for end to end process simplification using Process Excellence and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, leverage common automation initiatives, eliminate process inefficiencies, and ensure alignment with relevant RELX workstreams
Facilitate CI trainings such as CI Champion, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, SCM and other applicable CI trainings.
Educate, coach, and mentor Green and Yellow Belts on Lean Six Sigma tools, methodologies.
Plan and successfully execute continuous improvement projects to meet goals and support strategic priorities, delivering recommended improvements with supporting business rationale.
Serve as catalyst for change by stimulating, communicating, and institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and the benefits these capabilities provide.
Drive cultural changes across the business and support deployment of the Lean Six Sigma program
Facilitate rapid improvement events targeting specific improvement opportunities in the business.
Communicate progress through OPEX forums and other applicable channels

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must have at least 7 years of relevant working experience – at least 3 years of which is experience in leading automation projects (e.g. RPA and other industry-leading automation solutions)
Six Sigma Trainings and Certification (GB, BB, MBB) – ideal but not mandatory
Automation Training and Certification
Agile Training and Certification
Project Management Trainings and Certification (PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master) – ideal qualification but not mandatory
Open to work in a shifting schedule
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentational)
Willing and able to work on any and flexible shift to meet business need
Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
