Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems for various stages of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients, projects, or entities. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, making team decisions, engaging with multiple teams, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. You will also contribute to key decisions and ensure the successful execution of software development projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the software development process - Ensure the successful execution of software development projects - Mentor and guide junior professionals Professional & Technical Skills: - Good understating of NX CAD in Modeling Assembly & Drafting. - PLM Teamcenter application end user knowledge is essential. - NX Open, Ufunc with C and C# (.NET) programming skills either one is required. - NX Configurations and architecture of customization knowledge is must. - PDM Server calls usage from NX is required. - Checkmate knowledge is mandatory. - Electrical / Mechanical Routing knowledge good to have. - Documentation skills are required to create functional / test specification documents. Process Skill : - Coding standards and best practices for C or C+++ and C# is must to have. - GIT or GIT HUB user level knowledge is required for code check in/check out / code merge. - Agile / SCRUM way of working is must. - DTAP ( Development , Testing , Acceptance and Production ) generic process to be aware. - Good team player , communication and presentation skills are expected. Soft skills: - Ownership, proactiveness - Analytical skills - Fast learner - Communication skills Fields of Education - Mech Engineer or, - Computer Science, or - Other engineering Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter - This position is based at our Pune office - A 15 years full time education is required
