Job Description :

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to drive continuous evolution within our financial team. Our ideal candidate couples in-depth knowledge of accounting, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting with a strong, adaptive “change agent” mindset. Beyond maintaining accuracy and compliance, you will actively contribute to periodic management reporting enhancement, champion strategic process improvements, and propose innovative ways to strengthen our financial health.

Previous work experience, a degree in Accounting, and a CPA certification are essential. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and evolution of our company’s financial reporting, reporting to the
Senior Director, Accounting for our U.S. branch, Breezeline.

 

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve our processes as well as automating our ‘’ways of working’’ with AI technology.

  • Assist in audits on financial statements for U.S legal entities,

  • Participate in compilation of quarterly and yearly footnotes, manage standalone financial statements and associated disclosure

  • Research, analyze and conclude on accounting pronouncements and technical issues.

  • Coordinate with various departments and monitor annual and quarterly deliverables for outside auditors.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to submit to the financial management and leadership team.

  • Prepare and maintain report templates for more advanced reports, supervise all enhancement and development requests.

  • Collaborate with senior management and provide updates on financial reports, progress and modifications.

  • Assist in the production and distribution of internal financial reports, compile various cross functional reports.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, document accounting policies according to accounting standards and IFRS.

  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification

  • 4-6+ yrs proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures

  • Understanding of IFRS

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

  • Proficiency with G-Suite, including Gemini and Workday preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

Location: Hybrid - Quincy, MA 
 

For candidates whose primary place of work will be in Massachusetts, the expected salary range for this position is $105 000 – $157 400.


This range represents the annual salary or hourly wage that Breezeline expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and specific work location.
