JOB DESCRIPTION

In a climate-controlled warehouse where personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, Material handlers are responsible for the physical movement and storage of goods within a warehouse environment. Material handlers work with self-guided vehicles used for material handling and automated storage and retrieval systems.

Warehouse duties:

• Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards.
• Sort, label, and store items in designated locations following inventory management protocols.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Use advanced systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations.
• Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays.
• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Safely operate forklifts, ride on pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges.

• Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Must-have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods.
