The Team: Pre-trade Engineering

The Pre-Trade Engineering Team is responsible for the critical systems that power global user onboarding and long-term engagement. Our mission is to architect the robust, compliant infrastructure required for jurisdictional expansion, transforming complex regulatory requirements into intuitive user journeys. We leverage advanced metrics and product insights to eliminate friction across the entire user lifecycle, from first interaction to sustained retention. Our work is defined by a collaborative, results-driven culture committed to technical excellence and the use of a modern, cloud-native stack.

What You’ll Do

• Service Development: Architect and deliver robust, cloud-native services designed to handle global user onboarding and long-term engagement across mobile and web platforms.

• Infrastructure for Expansion: Build and maintain the compliant infrastructure required for jurisdictional expansion, ensuring systems meet diverse global regulatory standards while maintaining a seamless user experience.

• Retail & Corporate Experience: Drive technical initiatives to ensure a premium onboarding journey for both individual and institutional clients.

• Client Communications: Design and implement automated communication frameworks to deliver real-time notifications, regulatory disclosures, and engagement-driven outreach.

• Frictionless User Journeys: Translate complex backend logic and regulatory constraints into a seamless user experience through thoughtful UI and API design.

• Operational Excellence: Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production systems with clear SLOs, automated CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive documentation.

• Data-Driven Iteration: Use product insights and advanced metrics to identify and eliminate friction across the entire user lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

• Engineering Leadership: Experience leading complex projects and technical teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments.

• Full-stack Technologist: Broad experience with both front-end (e.g. React / Typescript) and backend (e.g. Java) technologies.

• Execution Focus: A proven record of delivery with the ability to own projects from ideation through to production-ready state.

• Collaborative Craftsmanship: A commitment to high code quality through rigorous reviews, TDD, and mentoring.

• Systems & Concurrency: Solid understanding of distributed computing, concurrency, and building reliable systems at scale.
