Job Overview:
The Network DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support large migration from existing network monitoring platform to new application observability stack using Grafana ecosystem
Contribute to technical design of projects and work alongside architects and other engineers to deliver solutions that align with company vision and growth
Collaborate with key stakeholders; architects, engineers, and support personnel to deliver solutions that align with the company’s goals and vision.
Prepare and maintain up to date design, standards, and documentation for network observability and diagnostics tools
Develop strong relationships with all IT partners across the globe.
Product Ownership responsible for the development, management and lifecycle of network related products or services.
Define Product roadmaps, outlining key features, milestones and timelines.
Risk Management identify potential risks to the product, such as security vulnerabilities or technical challenges and help to develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Advanced Linux skills including shell scripting
Experience with network or application observability tools
Experience with SNMP polling network or other platforms with Grafana or Telegraf preferred
Elastic or Splunk indexer for logging pipeline configuration
Time series data base experience. Prometheus or InfluxDB preferred
Basic network platform knowledge like Cisco IOS or Arista EOS preferred
Alert management with Prometheus Alert manager preferred
Developing Data Retention policies with any of the following platforms:
Prometheus
InfluxDB
Grafana Mirmir
Grafana Loki
Developing Grafana Dashboards and Menu Navigations but Splunk experience is acceptable as well
Experience with coding/scripting/automation/orchestration platforms (Python, Ansible), including interfacing with APIs is preferred
Knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift network policy, ingress/egress control, service meshes is a plus
Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or other CICD tools
Essential multi-tasking capability
Project Management skills preferred.
Deep understanding of security best practices
Clear and concise written and verbal skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
