Job Description

Our mission as the Global Analytics and Insights organization is to provide functional partners with information to manage performance and support decision-making, while driving operational excellence in the process.

As a Financial Analyst you will support multiple forecasting, causaling, and reporting processes and analysis for the Lifecycle Services EMEA business. You will use financial systems like Oracle EPM, SAP, and Power BI to provide performance reporting and insight on a variety of main financial metrics, including orders and entire P&L. You will also automate processes and support simplification and standardization efforts.

You will report to the FP&A Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain standard P&L reporting including regional and business unit performance, trends, and main variances to plan, forecast and prior period
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for all key financial metrics for the group
  • Develop and advocate for automation, simplification, and standardization in reporting.
  • Create ad hoc analyses and respond to business inquiries to understand material drivers of financial performance.
  • Align with the other teams in the Global Analytics and Insights organization to lead improved and standardized global processes.
  • Support the transfer of workload between FP&A organizations within Rockwell to ensure continuity of business support and ensure use of standard tools and processes.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A / Controlling area or similar.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience interpreting financial results and develop main takeaways and insights.
  • Process improvement focus.
  • Strong ownership and ability to drive issues to resolution.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with Oracle EPM and SAP.
  • Practical knowledge of Power Query / Power BI.
