Position Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Hours per week: up to 38 hours per week (Rotating 24/7 Roster)

Position Grade: Registered Nurse (Year 1 - 8)

Salary: $70,049.73 to $98,351.39 base per annum

Enterprise Agreement: Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Nurses Agreement 2017

About you:

Are you a nurse with excellent acute nursing skills and experience in an acute hospital setting.  We're a team that's all about support and building on your strengths and if you feel the same, we are the team for you.

If you have recently completed your new graduate program or you have over 8 years under your belt we’d love to hear more about you.

You'll have a Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Clinical Nurse Educators, and a group of Nurse Unit Managers backing you up. All our teams are also fully dedicated to collaborating with you.

Selection Criteria:

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Akenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.

2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team, managing time constraints under pressure in a fast-paced environment

4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
