Job Summary
At KeyBank, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Change Lead with a strong background in project and change management. The Change Lead thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment and can work independently while partnering across product, marketing, technology, and servicing teams to drive successful change initiatives.  Champion transformative change by leading the adoption of innovative products, cultural evolution, and streamlined processes. Ensuring seamless transitions that enhance both employee engagement and client satisfaction by implementing structured change management strategies, fostering clear communication, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Work Experience

Required

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial digital, onboarding, servicing, or product management/ development.
• Hands-on experience with change management and project execution
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Intermediate experience with Agile, i.e involvement in the agile process, with a good understanding of both strategic objectives and operations execution.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration during change initiatives by aligning stakeholders, analyzing and interpreting impacts on teams, and developing comprehensive change plans that enhance adoption and minimize disruption.
• Experience operating in a data-driven environment, through insights and metrics to improve efficiency.

Preferred

• Experience commercializing solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Experience creating compelling stories and presentations that engage stakeholders and clearly communicate complex ideas.
• Familiarity with user-centered design and user experience principles.
• Certification in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is a plus.

Skills

• Business Acumen- Understanding of commercial banking, or related fields.

• Analytical Thinking- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Physical Demands

• General office environment: Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face-to-face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Travel/Driving Requirements

• May need to drive or travel to corporate office locations for leadership meetings

Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment.  As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $68,000 to $80,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
