Position Summary: 

Responsible for facilitating PRA’s day-to-day maintenance and control monitoring of all Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs), including inventory management, placement and recalls.

Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Facilitates day-to-day maintenance of DCAs including agency placement, recall, and inventory management processes
  • Updates Company systems with data, payments and notes detailing the actions taken at agency partners
  • Acts as liaison between the Company and all DCAs, responding to Agency questions/requests and communicating PRA needs and expectations with Agencies
  • Reviews, analyzes, and validates Control Reporting results; identifies processing outliers and/or violations; reports results and submits recommendations to Management for remediation
  • Creates and maintains documentation for all Agency Management processes and controls
  • Assists management with quality assurance and compliance projects
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility
  • Completes all required compliance or other training

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • High school degree/GED, bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred, or a demonstrable equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience with debt collections
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting/financial/ banking or related industry preferred
  • Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and all other federal and state laws and regulations related collections preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Windows
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Intermediate ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Intermediate ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and process documents
  • Intermediate ability to perform audits, conduct research, analyze information capture results, and report findings
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

  • Adhere to PRA CARES values and the Code of Conduct policy to the highest standards of ethics, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, processes, and regulations.
  • Highlight/escalate any misconduct against the PRA CARES values, Code of Conduct Policy and or any other relevant policies, processes, and regulations.
  • Obtain understanding of governance and risk in relation to the role, ensuring to keep up to date with any regulatory changes in your local region and Europe.
  • Completion of all mandatory training that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company. All training should be completed within a timely manner.
