In this role you define, implement, supervise, and drive strategic direction, objectives, and targets for the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business in Sweden in accordance with country and regional strategy, to gain maximum profitable sales and market share. The CRM Operating Unit consist of 3 integrated operating units: Defibrillator Solutions Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Procedure Innovations and Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Defining the CRM revenue and expense strategy as well as pricing schemes for Sweden in line with the regional Profit and Loss (P&L) strategy.
- Developing the yearly CRM Business Plan, setting challenging targets and be hands-on and close to the CRM team and customers in the field.
- Analysing market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources.
- Driving the CRM sales in Sweden and developing strategies to improve sales, decrease cost levels and increase market shares for all CRM product lines.
- Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process to enhance the Medtronic Brand and Image.
- Identifying, attracting and growing human talent to build a strong, engaged, performance driven team.
- Attending all required national and regional meetings.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree or equivalent
- Strategic thinker with a successful track record in sales and a data driven approach with change management capabilities
- Advanced people management skills, strong leader and motivator with the ability to coach the team based on experience
- Thorough knowledge of the healthcare industry with previous experience from medical device or pharma where sales execution is a key for success
- Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement) in Sweden
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Experience from the CRM-field and an entrepreneurial spirit with a a ‘Can-do’ attitude will be an added plus.
