A Brief Overview

What you will do

  • Operates and is certified on the order picker, forklift and reach truck to unload shipments and restock full pallets

  • Using the order picker, reach truck and/or sit-down forklift and handheld RF scanners, performs picking activities for mixed windshields, bulk, curved tempered and moldings

  • Using the order picker reach truck and/or sit-down forklift and handheld RF scanners, perform inbound receiving activities

  • Assist with offload trailers using sit-down forklift or by hand

  • May drive and deliver automotive glass, accessories, and other items from the fulfillment sites to the store locations

  • Other duties assigned by management

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Preferred

  • Valid state-issued driver's license and other license(s) (as required by federal, state, and local laws) to operate a company vehicle Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 4-6 years Relevant experience Required

  • Prior supply chain experience, including operating forklifts Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Drivers License, required

  • Ability to work at a physical distribution location.

  • Ability to pass MVR and operate a company vehicle

  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions in warehouse and dock areas (seasonal heat and cold in environment that is not air conditioned).

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be able to operate or have the ability to learn to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Eventual completion of MHE certification (order picker, reach truck, and forklift) required.

  • Associate must weigh under 300lbs in order to abide by safety standards when using the MHE equipment.

  • Ability to satisfy all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements as outlined in the Field Supplemental Handbook (i.e., ability to wear safety glasses while working in the distribution center)
