We are recruiting for a (Senior) Financial Analyst BeNeLux to be based in our offices in Zaventem, Belgium.

As a (Senior) Financial Analyst, you perform deep dive analysis and forecasting of financial, economic, and other relevant data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions for the division.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating the timely and high-quality submission of financial requests in close collaboration with the commercial leadership.

  • Providing ongoing standard analysis on all levels of the P&L, mainly revenue, margin and operating expenses.

  • Proactively driving new ways of looking at the results and commitments.

  • Identifying specific projects together with the Area Finance Manager to further drive value creation.

  • Periodic forecasts, month-end procedures and performance reporting for commercial teams.

  • Month-end close ownership related to revenue and cost areas of P&L, including working with shared service center to complete accurate month end close.

  • Acting as true business partner across the whole organization.

  • Liaising with EMEA entities and division and acting as point of contact for requests from Division and the EMEA finance community.

  • Participating to ad hoc projects at management request or as the needs arise.

  • Participating as a co-leading member of teams implementing system changes or developments.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 4-6 years’ work experience in an international (preferably similar) corporate environment.

  • Strong experience in Excel and an established data-cube system (HFM, Hyperion, Dodeca, Cognos, Business Objects etc.) SAP experience is an asset.

  • Fluency in English, Dutch and French is strongly preferred.

  • Highly analytical, with an eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential as this role interacts with multiple levels within the Abbott organization.

  • Strong commitment, willing to take ownership of problems.

  • Dynamic, motivated and integer team player.
