The Opportunity:
Oversee the Force Protection Screening and Vetting (FPSAV) of Foreign Nationals (FN) withing the Africa Command (AFRICOM)
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all Project requirements are met and all personnel filling each position are qualified and meet expectations.
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections to assess, rate, and improve performance of all employees.
Document deficiencies, proficiencies, and any incidents and implements any remedial steps as necessary to improve performance.
Act as the quality inspector of employee services and work products at their assigned location.
Report any findings to the COR and coordinated scheduled quality control visits.
Manage established DoD, AFRICOM and USAF policies and procedures and coordinate with the AOTPS AFSO PfM for any required support.
Maintain overall quality control of Screeners, Intelligence Analyst and Regional Media Specialist.
Submit a Weekly Activity Report (WAR) to the PfM, 25th EFIS and EDet Commanders/SELs.
Serves as the overall database manager/administrator, thus insuring uniformity and standardization across all EDets.
Conduct an annual program review of Screening Cell operations and procedures and address all items of concern to the appropriate individuals.
Qualifications:
Possess 5 years of experience as a civilian equivalent of AFOSI (AFSC 7S071), Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Army CID, or USAF AFSC 3P0X1 (security forces) with 5 years of law enforcement or investigations experience, or MOS 35L/M, 180A, 18F, or 35E (Strategic Debriefer or similar skillset) with a minimum of 4 years of field experience and minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience.
TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor’s degree
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Proficient level knowledge of SIPRNet search engines and database retrieval tools such as QueryTree and M3 and screening tools such as Universal Forensic Extraction Devices (UFEDs), I2AR, and SOFEX/DONIS
Deployed experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
