Senior Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d)

Terramate Cloud is an Infrastructure as Code management platform that rapidly simplifies, secures and scales your Terraform. It adds stacks, workflows, drift management, and observability and runs natively in any CI/CD such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD and others.

We are hiring Senior Full-Stack Engineers as individual contributors to develop, test, deploy, and maintain Terramate Cloud. You should have professional experience in building high-quality software on scale. CS degree, experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Terramate is a plus.

Work is remote or hybrid (depending on your location) with Berlin as the preferred location, and we work exclusively with senior engineers in small, lean, and self-organized teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Software development experience with Typescript and Go. Vue for frontend and testing frameworks such as Vitest and Cypress.

• Hands-on experience with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.

• Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS.

• Experience working on accessible web applications and with browser-based test automation is highly valued.

• Experience with responsive design and a deep understanding of web technologies such as the DOM, HTML, CSS, HTTP, Rest, GraphQL and WebSockets.

• Hands-on experience writing software in professional environments.

• Passion for clear, clean, well-factored code.

• Remote work within time zones UTC-2 to UTC+4. (Berlin time +/- 3 hours). If you live in Berlin we require you to come to the office 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the Terramate Cloud frontend and backend.

• Contribute to architecture decisions and perform code reviews for your peers.

• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle of a product, from ideation to post-MVP, continually iterating and improving upon each version, and decide together if it is actually needed.

• Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and a strong desire to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
