Job Summary:**

Intralinks is seeking a talented Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our secure content collaboration platform, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software features and applications using various programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C#).
* Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process, tools, and infrastructure.
* Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Job Qualifications:**

* Minimally through Sophomore year working toward a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience in software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
* Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C#).
* Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) or back-end frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js) is a plus.
* Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
* Understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices architecture.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
