The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative business and technical led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Digital, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge platforms like SnapLogic, CPQ - Conga/Apttus, Reltio, Heroku, CLM, AWS, OKTA (SSO) and other.

About Go-To-Market Team:

The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences.  The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other cutting edge platforms like SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others

Our Go-To-Market (GTM) Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) is currently looking for a Manager, Information Systems Software Application Development to build and lead a team focused on the design and development of solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.

About You

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead complex projects related to GTM initiatives, sales productivity, user experience and be accountable for timely delivery of CPQ projects.
  • Manage and deliver small and large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Lead the design and development of solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, using Apex and Visualforce
  • Leading the development of solutions that will leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies
  • Supervise staff to build out Salesforce and CPQ Projects – responsibilities include identifying, designing, and implementing creative business solutions, to name a few, for pricing, quoting, contracting, renewals, subscriptions
  • Identify complex problems and create/suggest solutions to resolve them
  • Lead the integration of CPQ with other tools
  • Manage, advise and mentor team on professional development, general best practices and business initiatives or goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience onto Apttus CPQ / Salesforce CPQ/CPQ mandatory
  • Full software development life cycle implementation experience
  • Hands on experience and understanding with Salesforce configurations, Visualforce, Apex, Java, AJAX, .Net, HTML, XML, SQL, CSS, and REST-based web services
  • Minimum 5 yrs. Experience on the Platform. 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with evidence of exceptional ability to lead the team
  • At least 5+ years managing an application development team, with at least 12 years of experience in application development
  • Experience implementing Salesforce AppExchange product
  • Knowledge of Front End skills with jQuery / Bootstrap / AngularJS
  • Experience with development using Eclipse
  • Experience developing for Salesforce Communities and Lightning App Builder
  • Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery / DevOps

Other Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification Preferred
  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification Preferred
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
  • Critical thinker with solid deductive reasoning skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment meeting the needs of a global business
