Senior Manager, US Meetings Regional Lead
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. Amgen is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior Manager, US Meetings to serve as the regional lead for the United States within the Global Meetings Management (GMM) program. This role is responsible for driving the execution of regional meeting strategy, overseeing operational delivery, leading issue escalation and resolution efforts, managing agency and supplier relationships, and ensuring alignment with global program objectives.
With oversight of a portfolio that includes 500+ meetings annually, the Senior Manager leads a team of up to five and acts as the primary point of contact for US meeting partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong partner management, supplier engagement, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in strategic meetings execution in highly regulated environments.
Domestic and international travel required, 20%-30%.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of project, travel, or meetings experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of project, travel, or meetings experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of project, travel, or meetings experience
Associate degree and 10 years of project, travel, or meetings experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of project, travel, or meetings experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
