Parkade is SaaS for private parking, creating a better world with easier (and far less) parking. We help apartments, condos, offices or anyone with private parking move from managing their parking with stickers, hang tags and spreadsheets to automating all parking management, enforcement and customer service. We also help their parking revenue skyrocket.

Why is this such an exciting opportunity? We’re beloved by our customers, have carved out a differentiated position in a massive market and count some of the country’s most talented investors as backers.

We’ve already achieved product-market fit: Our CEO sold Parkade into dozens of buildings from 2021 to 2022 and wrote an initial sales playbook. Our new Head of Sales joined this May to lead the sales team, which now has two AEs and two SDRs, who are all hitting quota and iterating on our sales process. The sales team has now sold the product to hundreds of customers who love Parkade (<2% annual churn), and the unit economics are nearly unparalleled in our industry (PropTech).

We’re looking for an Account Executive to take us into hypergrowth, and help Parkade become the first billion-dollar parking-software company and a household name. You'll work closely with our Head of Sales and early sales team members to hit the ground running, network into the world of multi-family and office buildings and convince them to modernize their parking.

Job description

  • Learn Parkade's product and vision inside and out, master into our value props, understand the objections you'll get and identify product gaps we should improve to help you close more sales.

  • Get to know the world of property managers (if you don’t already), understand their role, how they manage parking today and how Parkade can capture the opportunity.

  • Combine leveraging our existing outbound and inbound sales channels, including working with our SDRs, with your own abilities to still do some cold prospecting yourself through whatever channels work best for you (phone, email, referrals, etc).

  • Identify and adopt cutting edge technologies that help you get the job done better.

  • Report directly to the Head of Sales.

About you

  • Resourcefulness. You know how to figure things out, and not rely on things (especially leads) being handed to you on a silver platter. You can source and close a sales pipeline yourself, through a variety of means, and you’ve thrived after making major life changes in your personal and professional life.

  • Hustle. Everyone knows about your high-caliber work ethic, and it’s helped keep you a step above the rest. You don't mind picking up the phone to make a cold call or dropping into an apartment building to gather into on their parking.

  • Communication. Your communication skills are top-notch. You can write fast, clearly, and with impeccable grammar that makes your written communication shine. You have a high EQ, and are able to clearly communicate with your colleagues.

  • Attentiveness. You have incredible attention to detail and extremely strong organizational skills. You also know how to listen to customers, and don’t just talk.

  • Team player. You thrive in team environments, balancing your competitive nature with your love of supporting others. You understand and demonstrate, in many ways, that the team winning is more important than you winning.

  • Experience. You’re not just a top-tier salesperson, but you’ve spent years successfully guiding complex software sales through myriad internal and buyer stakeholders. You know how to manage similar deal sizes ($2,500-$100,000 ARR) and sales cycles (77 days on average).

Bonus points

  • Recent startup experience, with a track record of driving sales, comfort with ambiguity and ability to step outside your job description

  • You've sold software before in the multi-family real-estate industry, with some kind of in-person operational component

  • You have a background in parking, real estate and/or property management

  • You have a passion for changing the built world, and creating a safer, greener, more affordable world that doesn't have vastly too much parking.

Benefits

  • Equity so that you'll share in Parkade's future financial success

  • Healthcare to ensure all your bases are covered for you and your family

  • Great culture embodied in our small, high-caliber team of mission-driven doers

  • Unlimited PTO to give our employees a little extra R&R when they need it

  • Remote work program to allow for flexibility between home and the office

Location

Ideally you're located in the San Francisco Bay Area and interested in working frequently in our San Francisco office. We are also open to stellar remote candidates throughout the United States.
