As a Sales Engineer at Branch, you will:

Pre-Sales Support

• Partner with Account Executives across SEA to understand customer goals, technical environments, and success criteria.
• Lead product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and solution architecture discussions across Branch’s attribution, deep linking, and engagement products.
• Design and build custom solutions, proofs of concept, and sandbox integrations that showcase Branch’s capabilities against a prospect’s specific use case.

Technical Expertise

• Serve as the subject matter expert on Branch’s platform, APIs, SDKs, and integration options, including our Journeys, Universal Ads, and Ivy AI product lines.
• Stay current on mobile measurement standards (SKAN, AdAttributionKit, GDPR/DPDP-style privacy regimes), ad fraud trends, and the broader mobile and marketing technology landscape.
• Advise customers on integrating Branch into existing mobile, web, and data infrastructure, including CDPs, MMPs migrations, and analytics stacks.

Customer Engagement

• Build trusted relationships with engineering, product, and growth marketing stakeholders, addressing technical concerns and ensuring long-term success on the platform.
• Act as a strategic advisor to customers, recommending best practices that maximize ROI and reduce time-to-value from Branch’s solutions.

Collaboration and Feedback

• Work closely with Product and Engineering to relay customer needs, competitive intelligence, and regional market trends from the SEA region.
• Build and maintain technical enablement resources — documentation, demo environments, and presentations — that scale the sales engineering function across the team.

Team Structure & Reporting

• This role will report directly to the Regional General Manager (GM), based in Singapore.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales and Customer Success to support enterprise growth across the APAC region.

Travel Expectations

• This position will require travel to customer locations across the SEA region for customer meetings, product demonstrations, solution design sessions, and other enterprise engagements.

You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or another customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS, martech, or adtech.
• A strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, system integrations, and modern SaaS/cloud architectures.
• Working knowledge of iOS and Android application development concepts and mobile app architectures; hands-on development experience is a plus but not required.
• A track record of leading technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept with enterprise customers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both engineering and business audiences.
• Familiarity with mobile measurement, attribution, deep linking, or broader marketing technology platforms is strongly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with competing MMP/attribution platforms to support competitive displacement conversations.
• Experience with discovery and qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC) for running joint technical discovery with Account Executives.
• Comfort presenting ROI and business-value narratives to VP- and C-level stakeholders, not only engineering counterparts.
• Experience responding to RFPs and security questionnaires, particularly in regulated industries such as fintech.
• Experience navigating multi-stakeholder, matrixed sales cycles spanning engineering, marketing, and data teams.
• AI/LLM literacy, with the ability to speak to how AI-driven recommendations and agents work, including their data and privacy implications — relevant to Branch’s Ivy product.
•  Familiarity with retail media and first-party data strategy, useful when selling into retail and e-commerce accounts.
