Job Description

Mission:

Responsible for the development of Android car entertainment system and smartphone application solutions, ensuring seamless cross platform user experience. Drive innovation and align software delivery with project timelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Decision-Making and Problem Solving

  • Participate in product requirement reviews to assess technical feasibility and provide input for successful implementation.
  • Conduct architectural design and guide product research and development processes.
  • Review technical documents to ensure compliance with internal standards and automotive industry requirements.
  • Propose effective solutions to complex technical issues during development and product demonstrations and be able to eliminate problems.

2. Innovation and Research and Development

  • Promote the adoption of new technologies and innovative approaches in Android development.
  • Disassemble product requirements and execute development tasks. 
  • Ensure smooth Android development workflow and translate concepts into work products for information entertainment systems and mobile applications.

3. Communication and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as IT, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
  • Liaise with external vendors to confirm technical implementation plans and set up testing or demonstration environments.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Scope of Action:

  • Responsible for Android development of in car infotainment systems and smartphone applications, ensuring synergy between the two. 
  • Responsible for integrating mobile technology with automotive solutions, emphasizing seamless connectivity and user experience.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision of Android based technology in the automotive ecosystem.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • On-Time Delivery: Percentage of milestones achieved on schedule.
  • Product Quality: Number of issues identified post-release vs. during development.
  • Innovation Metrics: Number of new features or technologies adopted per project cycle.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Feedback from internal and external partners on communication and project alignment.
