Summary:
In the role of Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards. The role also includes facilitating efficient data collection, storage, access, and usage processes. Driving data stewardship initiatives is a key part of the daily activities to ensure comprehensive and effective governance across the organization s data assets. The practitioner plays a vital role in maintaining the trustworthiness and usability of data throughout its lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and mitigate data governance risks and compliance issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance policies and procedures.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data quality and compliance with governance standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align data governance objectives.
- Familiarity with data security principles and best practices to protect sensitive information.
- Skilled in monitoring and reporting on data governance metrics and key performance indicators.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
