Position:                       IT Infrastructure Lead/Engineer (Ops/Systems)

Work location:              Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Job Duties:

Responsible for support related to daily computer systems operations support, incl. operational efficiencies and new functionalities (through automation, AI/ML, etc.). Work on development and maintenance of best practices and appropriate documentation on procedures, systems, and applications. Consult and collaborate with managers to determine the role of IT systems in an organization. Research/identify emerging technologies to increase organization’s efficiency and effectiveness and meet all company and user needs. Prepare analysis of costs and benefits re: IT systems and computing infrastructure upgrades.  Design and implement new systems by choosing and configuring hardware and software, oversee installation and configuration of new systems to be customized for the organization, and conduct testing of systems to verify stability and inter-operability.  Work on annual assessment of Microsoft licensing, create training materials and instruction manuals, and architect MIM solutions to integrate with other platforms and components. Work on short and long-term solutions to enhance systems, infrastructure, operations and perform other duties as assigned.

5-10% international and domestic travel required.

Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Systems Administrator role.

Special Requirements:

Position requires at least some experience in each of the following skills:

Operate and provide IT support services in large and complex IT environment for 10,000+ users; Administration, support, configuration, and maintenance of diverse Microsoft technologies; Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels in stand-alone and multi-tiered environments; Configuration management and develop improvements for system software performance, availability and reliability; Perform incident resolution; test software up-dates and patches; in-depth diagnoses for operations systems software/hardware failures and develop solutions; Scripting and PowerShell; Identity Management; MIM; Solaris; ITIL V3 Foundations.
