Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable Data & AI solutions aligned with business goals.

• Guide the technical direction of data science and machine learning projects from prototyping to production.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases.

• Drive adoption of MLOps practices for robust and reproducible model deployment and monitoring.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are embedded into all AI and data initiatives.

• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.

• Mentor and support technical team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and strategic planning within the broader Data & AI ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in delivering end-to-end data and AI solutions.

• Strong expertise in Python, with practical experience in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

• Proven experience in designing and deploying ML models in production using MLOps frameworks and tools (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Glue, EMR, SageMaker, Azure ML).

• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and experience collaborating with data engineering teams.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of data privacy, model explainability, fairness, and governance in AI systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software design and system architecture.

• Experience in Agile methodologies and leading cross-functional technical teams.

• Fluent in English.

• German is a plus.
