Description -

We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Software Engineer with strong experience in React to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing scalable cloud solutions in Typescript and building responsive user interfaces using React. This role requires a blend of cloud infrastructure knowledge and front-end development skills to create seamless and robust applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications and services.
    • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
    • Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage applications.
  • Front-End Development:
    • Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.
    • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design specifications and ensure a high-quality user experience.
    • Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Integration & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
    • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Best Practices & Standards:
    • Follow and promote best practices in cloud architecture, security, and development.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on cloud-based applications.
    • Proven experience with React and front-end development.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Experience with TypeScript.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
    • Understanding of serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
