Job Description

A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, ACT’s retail network includes ~16,700 convenience stores, and has footprint across 31 countries and territories primarily under the Circle K brand. The India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre (F&L GCC) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Fuels & Logistics Team, and the Manager Wet Stock will be a key player on this team that will help oversee entire wetstock management process in respective region, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards and grow F&L globally at ACT.

About the role

The hired candidate will partner with multiple departments, including Global Marketing, Merchandising, Global Technology, and Business Units. The Jr Analyst – Wet Stock Management will support fuel inventory management and wet stock analytics for assigned Business Units by monitoring fuel variances, HSE compliance, and forecourt operations. The role involves identifying process improvement opportunities, supporting reporting activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and actionable operational insights.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • On daily basis monitor fuel inventory levels and conduct regular analysis of wetstock data.

  • Continuously analyze stock movement trends to identify potential fuel loss.

  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in fuel consumption and inventory records.

  • For identified issues and deviances ensure adequate follow-up and resolution.

  • Collaborate with operations teams, by ensuring to optimize fuel variance results.

  • Report to BU operations team about faults and issues in fuel related HSE and forecourt equipment segments.

  • Actively participate in Department relevant improvement projects for new or already established processes.

  • Recommend, help to develop, improve existing policies, procedures, processes within department and company.

  • In case of necessity proactively support team members with advice and support Team Manager in department work organization.

Qualifications and experience

  • 6+ Months of experience within logistics, supply chain, compliance, statistics, finance, or other related industries.

  • Higher educational level in Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, Accounting or related field.

  • Experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Compliance, Statistics, Finance,or other related industry (it can compensate the formal education).

  • Previous experience as a wetstock analyst or in a similar role within the energy or retail sector will be considered as an advantage. 

  •  Familiarity with wetstock monitoring systems and related technologies will be considered as an advantage.

  •  Work experience in foreign and in multicultural environment will be considered as an advantage. 

Competencies

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making skills with a focus on attention to details. 

  • Good communication skills. 

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)

  • Proactive, detail oriented and improvement driven personality.
