We are looking to provide cover in our service delivery team to continue to mature our IT service management provision. The individual will contribute to building and maturing service management and governance models with the Head of IT Service Delivery.  The role will work across the organisations central support teams and business units, having a strong focus on availability and performance.  The role is primarily responsible for;

  • IT Vendor Management.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Service improvement.

This is a 6 Month Fixed Term contract covering someone on equal family leave.

This is a hybrid role with travel required to the office a few times a week (Shirley, Solihull)

Main purpose & goals

  • Responsible for IT vendor management ensuring performance is managed through regular service review meetings.
  • Act as an escalation point for Vendors/Stakeholders
  • Track vendor performance through reporting pack.
  • Implement service improvement plans with key vendors.
  • Manage and drive the implementation of service improvement plans with internal and external support teams, to reduce incident volumes
  • Run, document and manage lessons learned activity and the subsequent actions
  • Take the lead on P1 and if necessary P2 incident management and communication
  • Build relationships with stakeholders within IT, Central support and with Practice Managers at each Business unit.
  • Responsible for small to medium service transition/introduction projects.
  • Work with Service Desk Manager and team to ensure vendors and stakeholder information is acted upon
  • Priority 1 management with internal business, IT team & Vendors
  • Provides cover for other roles in the team
  • Works to tie IT teams together and provide a unified front to customer/stakeholders
  • Raise risks identified via vendors or stakeholder meetings which could have an impact to service, financial revenue or reputation.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting pack.
  • Visits to Brand locations and Suppliers where applicable.
  • Create ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Any other activities to aid the successful functioning of the team.

Experience

  • 2 Years + Service Delivery Manager experience in a medium to large organisation spread across multiple locations Cira 100+
  • Vendor Management across multiple disciplines
  • Stakeholder Management across multiple regions disciplines
  • Service improvement at volume
  • ITIL/ITSM processes
  • Understanding of IT concepts and architectures
  • ITSM Tool
  • Microsoft ITIL V3/4
  • Experience of Service Now
  • Full driving licence and access to vehicle to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Salary Value: £50,000 per annum:
