    As a Customer Business Analyst for Central Europe Region (CER) countries you will be part of the Consumer Business Group, responsible for the commercialization of worldwide leading brands including Scotch®, Scotch Blue™, Command™, Scotch-Brite™, Post-it®, 3M, Futuro™, Nexcare™, among others and you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

    • Determining Advanced Analysis and Insight Generation: Leveraging retailers and distributors' point of sales (POS) data, syndicated data, and shopper data to generate actionable insights.
    • Driving POS Growth and Mitigating Declines: Utilize your analytical expertise to develop strategies that enhance POS growth, while identifying and addressing potential declines through effective category management.
    • Playing a pivotal role in executing category management strategies. This involves deep dives into category performance, identifying growth opportunities, optimizing product assortment, and providing guidance on pricing and promotional strategies.
    • Influencing Partnership with Key Accounts: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer/distributor key accounts within CER, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and category management expertise.
    • Collaborating with all business analysts to implement Consumer Business Group global analytic strategies and tactics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

    Your Skills and Expertise 

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Expert Experience in business analytics or a related relevant customer market with a preference for experience in the FMCG industry.
    • Category Management demonstrated expertise and data-driven decision making.
    • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German.

    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with planogramming software (e.g., JDA Space Planner), and an understanding of data modeling techniques.
    • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive implementation of strategic initiatives.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights. Proficiency in presenting to clients.
