Position Summary...

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practice; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment ; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas. Product Vision and Strategy: Requires knowledge of: Problem formulation and solutioning; Hypothesis framing; Business strategies; Business
management practices across multiple domains; Customer segments and needs; Domain-specific knowledge; "Go to Market" strategies; Industry,
environmental, and economic factors and competitors; Product discovery process, product vision, product strategy and challenges; Rapid prototyping
and Lean experimentation methodologies; Concepts of "First Principle," "Whole Product," and "Crossing the Chasm" . To own a complex customer
problem and/or product requirement/need, as well as upstream and downstream impacts. Builds new ideas and strategies using "Whole Product"
concepts. Identifies new/uncharted areas for value creation. Independently articulates problem statements and defines success metrics (for example,
key performance indicators). Promotes product strategies and vision to stakeholders. Drives "Go-to-Market" strategies to ensure mass adoption.
Driving Customer/ Client Needs: Requires knowledge of: Customer and business problems; Design thinking; Dependencies and impacts on
product processes/ways of working; Journey mapping; Process optimization; Communication and influencing techniques. To build and maintain
consistent relationships with customers and proactively identifies customer needs. Creates scalable processes to gather and analyze customer
experiences. Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer needs to make decisions. Designs and implements new, barrier-free processes.
Coaches team members to improve focus on the customer.
Product Roadmap and Development : Requires knowledge of: Product roadmap development techniques; Roadmap presentation; Roadmap

(MVP) creation; Product development lifecycles; Product development concepts (for example, "Crossing the Chasm") To develop and own roadmaps

secure resources and alignment. Mentors team members on product roadmap and development. Establishes product roadmap expectations,

Manages roll out and scaling (using an MVP approach) of complex products/features. Data Driven Product Decisions : Requires knowledge of: Product and feature analytics; Data analysis tools and techniques; Research for analysis
activities; Documentation procedures (for example, data logs); Modern industry practices and emerging trends. To extract insights and promote the

Marketplace assortment growth team has been focused to identify, acquire and grow products & brands customer are looking and offer them by leveraging seller ecosystem.

What you will do

As the Marketplace Assortment Growth Product leader, you will work with cross functional teams comprised of business, engineering, design, product, research, and analytics to deliver exceptional products, features and experiences that empower the growth of the millions of businesses on our platform while offering high in demand products & brands to meet customer demand. In this role you will

  • Define assortment & brand growth product vision, strategies, and OKRs based on business goals, seller needs, market and best practices.
  • Drive product roadmaps, align business and technical requirements, oversee product execution, and mitigate risks. 
  • Utilize seller and customer engagement data & metrics and analytics to make informed decisions and refine product strategies. 
  • Think proactively on how to continuously improve our products for effective growth of high customer demand assortment.
  • Promote and enforce product excellence best practices. Motivate, coach, and inspire the team.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and partners, prioritize initiatives in line with business goals and gaining buy-in from leadership. 
  • Embrace an agile work ethic, adopting a test and learn mentality to continuously improve and adapt products based on feedback and evolving needs.

What you’ll bring:

  • You have 15+ years of experience in building strategy and launching growth led products for large marketplaces.
  • Proven track record leading complex product initiatives, including scaling through Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
  • You have led and or build high performing teams specializing in capabilities across catalog management, product categories & brand management
  • You are customer obsessed and always think about how to use cutting-edge technologies for customer demand signals, engagement metrics monitoring & tools, and drive actions towards improving adoption of capabilities on offer
  • You have experience in helping change mindsets and processes to drive thought leadership backed by strong execution.
  • You have launched not only 0-1 products but also scaled existing products.
  • You are comfortable working with ambiguity and can navigate large stakeholders’ groups across product divisions, business, operations, design, and engineering.
  • You have demonstrated excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • You have experience & strong bias for working with data scientists; have a strong acumen for building platforms and automation tools.

  • Be the product leader to drive top of the funnel growth for marketplace business by driving acquisition and growth of relevant products & brands customers want to buy.
  • Working closely with key partners across the organization in Business, Engineering, UX, Data analytics, Operations, and other product teams to develop and own a strategy and is clearly articulated, easily understood, and delivers meaningful value to our sellers and Marketplace business.
  • Develop an actionable roadmap that empowers your team to realize the product strategy and execute that strategy with well measured goals. Prioritize work thoughtfully and communicate commitments and updates to partners on an ongoing cadence.
  • Develop and own accountability for the performance of key metrics that help us understand the value of the platform to our sellers.
  • Regularly present to company executives on roadmap progress, strategy and
  • prioritization.
  • Work with operational analysts to find opportunities, and craft both back-end and Business Ops facing SOPs.
  • Integrate user research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs, as well as wants.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with your key stakeholders, identifying the right opportunities for collaboration and communication on an ongoing basis.
  • Partnering with Software and Data Engineering leadership to foster a strong cross-functional working relationship.
  • Moving fast within our agile and iterative team environment.
  • Leading & empowering team of Managers & IC PMs to foster a product excellence culture for strong product thinking and execution. Build upon existing or create stronger process, planning and documentation tools.
