Product Portfolio Specialist

Huntsman Corporation is seeking a Product Portfolio Specialist supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Product Portfolio Manager.

Job Scope

We are seeking an enthusiastic product portfolio specialist to work in our Operational Marketing team in Advanced Materials. Reporting directly to the Product Portfolio Manager, the individual will perform activities that support the continued optimization of the Americas Advanced Materials product range.

In summary, as the Product Portfolio Specialist, you will:

• Under direction, execute product portfolio management process, tracking lifecycle performance and implementing changes to improve the overall portfolio health.

• Manage Advanced Materials product portfolio in SAP and Master data systems.

• Execute portfolio change tasks in SAP in Material Master module ensuring process compliance.

• Continuously review and track portfolio costs, working closely with procurement and manufacturing sites.

• Support the innovation stage gate process to ensure completion of portfolio tasks in a timely manner.

• Under direction, review the opportunity pipeline projects to ensure proper validation of site capacity, timelines, and Material Master Data alignment.

• Monitor and report on project related inventory, working closely with Supply Chain.

• Support Operational Marketing team to maintain portfolio sample inventory.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Technical Service, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppply Chain, Procurement and Regulatory to execute on portfolio related activities.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Candidates must be willing to work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our office located in AFZ, Heredia. Additional office days may be required as needed or during corporate visits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or any business discipline in marketing or product management
• Fluent in English, written, reading, and oral.
• 3+ years’ experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.

• Detail oriented, analytical, and organized with excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills.

• Works well independently with a positive attitude.

• Adaptable to changing priorities and timelines.

• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP and Material Master module experience essential

• Experienced on Microsoft 365 Suite. Advanced Excel required.
