As the Senior Manager, Business Change, you will partner with the business using our internal change approach by bringing to life the adoption of new ways of working; enabling a leader-led approach to unlock value and deliver tangible and sustainable business benefits and outcomes. You will also support project teams with integrating change management activities into their project plans.

In this role, you will bring your difference to make your difference by:

  • Collaborating with business leaders and team members to develop valuable & practical change strategies and plans for preparing individuals for new ways of working and fostering adoption commitment.
  • Ensuring a balanced approach between technical aspects and people-oriented elements by collaborating with Project Managers.
  • Co-creating with Learning and Development and Communications, practical plans that enable successful change adoption and sustainability for the impacted users.
  • Partnering with HR business partners to define role and organizational structural changes.
  • Identifying business (people) readiness, commitment, risk, and resistance areas in an adaptive manner by developing appropriate plans to address and mitigate them.
  • Establishing readiness and adoption metrics to measure progress and implement reinforcement methods as necessary.
  • Engaging and actively coaching sponsors and people leaders to fulfill their role in empowering and enabling their team members through the change with a test and learn mindset.
  • Involving and collaborating with HR and business leaders early and often to foster co-creation and inclusivity and strengthen organizational change capability skillsets.
  • Thriving in fast-paced environment, decisively multitasking to support a portfolio of change management initiatives within the business.

To excel in this position, you will bring to the table:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in Organizational Change or related fields such as Human Resources or Business Project Management (or relevant fields).
  • University degree / post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources or Organizational Development (note: equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Ability to lead and support larger scale change efforts and successfully meet timelines and objectives.
  • Ability to work both at the strategic and tactical as well as make data-driven decisions and tackle problems.
  • Strong leadership skills are necessary along with the ability to make positive relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strategic thinking capability coupled with an enterprise mindset.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn and ramp up quickly.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with strong organizational/project management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills including the ability to influence others positively.
  • A good understanding of Human Resource functions combined with a strong business sense.
  • Approaches work with a growth mindset, testing and learning along the way and encourages others to do the same.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is essential.
  • Exposure to organizational change, or agile change practices in the retail industry is an asset.
  • French bilingualism (verbal and written) is advantageous.

The position is based out of the Brampton, Ontario, Store Support office and may require additional ad-hoc travel between GTA offices based on project assignments.
