Introduction to the job

As part of the Corporate Real Estate team, the “Physical Security Operations Manager (NL)” is responsible for the physical security operations of the main industrial sites & field offices in the Netherlands region, so ASML can accomplish its business goals in a secured environment. The Physical Security Operations Manager (NL) is part of the CRE Physical Security Operations NL team & strengthens ASML’s resilience to internal and external physical threats in order to protect People, Property and Knowledge.

Role and responsibilities

As our Physical Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the daily physical security operations in The Netherlands on operational / tactical level including incident follow-up.

• Managing the security service provider (80 FTE guards and the daily operations of the physical security control room;) and track site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and drive site improvement toward goals;

• Execution and follow up of Physical Security Assessments and driving physical security operations initiatives in The Netherlands;

• Driving the training & development program of security guards in The Netherlands;

• Operational access management in The Netherlands;

• Physical security incident follow up including evaluations;

• Maintain relationships with law enforcement and other relevant government agencies.

Education and experience

• A relevant Bachelor degree in (physical) security and CPP by the American Society for Industrial Security ASIS organization.

• More than 5/10 years working experience as an operational/ tactical manager in de field of physical Security Operations;

• Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment with international exposure is pre;

• Arguably experienced in project, contract management and with (operational) leadership skills and has the ability to influence on operational & tactical level;

• The ability to coach, counsel & influence operational & tactical level within the organization;

• Proven track record to lead & mentor security service provider on operational & tactical level;

• Must be fluent in English in writing & verbally.

• The Physical Security Operations Manager, Reports into the Manager Physical Security Operations

• The Job requires minimum amount of traveling, the main focus of the role is Veldhoven Campus.

• 24/7 standby service is possible requirement in the near future.

• Screening & assessment will be a part of this trajectory.
