Overview of what we do:

Our Vulnerability Management Analysts are part of the Information Security – Digital Security Threat Management team who provide a wide range of services in the Information Security space. From one day to the next you could be running vulnerability scans and analyzing results, performing retests of previous vulnerabilities, responding to queries related to vulnerabilities found during testing or researching and investigating new vulnerabilities and threats.

Responsibilities/tasks:

As a Vulnerability Management Intern:

You will be tasked to participate in the below high-level services in support of the Vulnerability Management program.

• Execute vulnerability management scanning tools, analyzing results and tracking to completion.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, threats and risks  across Operating Systems, APIs, Cloud infrastructure like network, etc.
• Triage, evaluate and perform risk assessments on assets to assist teams in prioritizing remediation.
• Interact with multiple global teams (security architecture, penetration testing, application development, Risk Officers, etc).
• Support treatment and remediation activities with identified system owners.
• Maintain knowledge of the threat landscape, provide reporting and analysis and follow up.
• Facilitate exception handling and escalation through risk review and acceptance process
• Provide vulnerability analysis and produce reports for management.
• Proactively research developments in the Information Security industry looking for opportunities to make improvements for the team.
