The Manufacturing Automation Sourcing Associate Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of services to stakeholders including but not limited to strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier performance management, price management, savings/compliance reporting, continuous improvement and ongoing cost reductions, supply market monitoring, and issue resolution.  

The Manufacturing Automation Sourcing Associate Manager will:

• Interact with all levels of management;
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to lead, communicate and support sourcing and category management procurement-related activities;
• Provide analytical support for necessary sourcing activities to maintain the competitiveness of category contracts;
• Support sales & business development, spend & contract analysis, and category planning activities;
• Support supply market research for your relevant categories;
• Assist in the development of reports for category specific savings results;
• Gather monthly performance-related data and prepares executive reports and presentations; 
• Perform numerous complex problem-solving functions to ensure customer satisfaction with Accenture’s services; and
• Develop good working relationships with customer stakeholders at both the corporate and business unit level.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, direct procurement, logistics, and supplier management
• Within a direct procurement environment:
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex purchasing agreements within a direct procurement environment.
• Demonstrated success at formulating category reporting and executive presentations
• Comfortable and effective in interacting with all levels of management, including executives
• Executive level communication skills explaining Procurement related support (Legal, Tax etc.) policies & procedures
• Easily adapt to new tools/technologies used to support the end to end supply chain
• Ability to travel 10% of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within Accenture procurement/sourcing
• Experience specific to strategic sourcing or e-procurement, preferred
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
