Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer , reporting to the Electrical Power Systems Manager, working out of the São Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office.

The Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer will work with the global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting, optics, and proximity sensing.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

  • Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications.

  • Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

  • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

  • Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

  • Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

  • This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil

  • Must have a degree in Engineering

  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language

  • Experience with Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering.

  • Experience with Product Development life cycle and applicable regulations.

  • Knowledge in Safety Assessment standards.

  • Some experience with supplier environmental qualification standards.

  • Familiar with Agile methodology.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Additional Information:
