Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, your day revolves around fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for software development teams by applying Agile principles. You will guide teams through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth communication and coordination among members. Your role involves identifying obstacles that may hinder progress and working proactively to resolve them, thereby maintaining momentum and focus on project goals. You will also monitor and communicate team progress through relevant metrics, supporting continuous improvement and alignment with organizational objectives. Your presence ensures that teams remain motivated, aligned, and productive throughout the development cycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance Agile practices and promote continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team s progress to maintain steady workflow.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a learning environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles.
- Ability to use Agile project management tools to track progress and report metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- Capability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Agile Project Management.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
