Currently, we are looking for a person for our Marketing team for the position: 

Senior Marketing Specialist – Shop, Concept, Food (m/f/x)

This role plays a key part in delivering promotional and marketing campaigns across the retail network, with a strong focus on Circle K convenience, food & thirst categories. This position will be responsible for implementing promotional cycles to increase customer traffic, sales, and brand loyalty, ensuring that centrally developed concepts are effectively executed at store level.

The role combines commercial and operational execution, ensuring that centrally defined concepts and marketing campaigns are effectively translated into store-level reality. It requires close collaboration with Retail Operations and Category Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful in-store experiences within convenience and food missions, while embedding Lean Marketing tools and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Marketing and Concept Initiatives:

• support Senior Marketing Manager in planning, coordination & implementation of promotional cycles according to yearly marketing calendar
• ensure strong in-store and forecourt visibility of key promotions to support sales and traffic
• roll-out ad-hoc shop promotions & communication initiatives across network related to product novelties, new openings/ remodels, new product planograms & store layouts
• cooperate closely with Retail Operations and Category Managers to ensure effective rollout of category concepts and POS materials
• adapt and implement centrally developed toolkits according to brand guidelines
• support execution of store campaigns and act as a key user of campaign tools

Print Management:

• coordinate POS materials production and distribution across the network
• maintain relationships with printing partners and oversee day-to-day execution of print processes
• collaborate with European/Brand teams on campaign materials and adaptations
• monitor the distribution process and resolve operational issues

Marketing Activities:

• identify opportunities to support shop sales through local initiatives and campaign execution
• support execution of BTL marketing campaigns
• ensure high-quality execution of central and local initiatives in stores

Cost Management:

• implement cost control plans with the Marketing Manager's approval
• support cost optimisation within marketing activities, especially in print production and distribution, identify opportunities to improve efficiency (e.g. materials, formats, logistics)

Qualifications and Experience:

• bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role within Retail or FMCG organization
• proven experience in managing campaigns and promo initiatives from concept to execution
• systematic approach & strong relationship-building skills with internal and external teams
• excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• solid project management abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• experience managing multi-site promotions and print processes
• proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• proficiency in English
