Position Summary...

The Manager, Finance for AI Acceleration, Product & Design serves as a strategic finance partner supporting Walmart’s enterprise AI transformation initiatives and the Product & Design organization. This role is responsible for driving financial planning, investment analysis, forecasting, and business performance management across a rapidly evolving technology and innovation portfolio.

The position plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership. The manager will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Strategy, and Corporate Finance teams to evaluate investments, optimize resource allocation, measure business impact, and support execution against enterprise priorities.

This role requires strong financial acumen, analytical rigor, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate combines strategic finance expertise with operational discipline and a strong understanding of technology-enabled business transformation, AI investments, and product operating models.

What you'll do...

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Support forecasting, annual planning, and long-range financial planning processes. 
• Develop financial models to support investment decisions, scenario analysis, and resource prioritization. 
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. 

Business Performance & Insights

• Deliver business reviews highlighting performance versus plan, key drivers, and risks. 
• Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership teams. 
• Support strategic initiatives with ROI analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement. 

Data, Tools & Automation

• Leverage tools such as Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and GenAI to improve reporting and insights. 
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, simplify processes, and improve scalability. 
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, data quality, and KPI consistency. 

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner with Product, Design, Strategy, and Finance teams to support strategic decision-making. 
• Influence prioritization and investment decisions across AI and product initiatives. 
• Support executive presentations, strategic analyses, and planning activities. 

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance supporting technology, product, or innovation organizations. 
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. 
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations. 
• Experience supporting technology, AI, or digital transformation initiatives. 
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, or similar analytics tools. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. 
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
