The Genomic Medicine Institute is committed to performing translational and clinical human genetics and genomics investigation and fostering innovation toward realizing the benefits of personalized genomic-based healthcare.
A caregiver in this position works 8:30AM – 12:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Actively participate in a structured learning experience in the laboratory or clinical research setting.
Gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis and/or other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and/or clinical research.
Conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting
Perform data collection and analysis.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma.
This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Previous research laboratory experience.
