To support this transformation globally, our Education division is establishing the role of Education Programs Director. Reporting to the Global Director of Education, this strategic leadership position is pivotal in shaping the future of L-Acoustics’ educational initiatives. The Director will lead a team of learning experts dedicated to developing innovative and high-quality educational content, ensuring compliance with both L-Acoustics and international educational standards. Working closely with the Director of Education Operations, the Education Programs Director will ensure seamless integration and deployment of training content, driving L-Acoustics’ growth as a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization.  

The Director of Education Programs will be central in bringing this vision to life. 

   

The Position. 

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for educational programs in Sound, Business, Industry, Human Skills & AI/Digital for our people and our extended community (sound professionals and students, artists; commercial, scientific and educational partners; suppliers).

  • Strategically identify and develop programs for end-users of L-Acoustics products and solutions to facilitate the adoption of new and innovative technologies, and be recognized as the maket-standard in audio education. 

  • Provide strategic leadership to support collaboration and continuous improvement, aiming for instructional excellence, innovation, and professional development.  

 

Organizational Structure and Infrastructure: 

  • Develop organizational structures to support high-quality professional learning setting frameworks, methodologies and ensuring strong interconnectivity across Divisions.  

  • In this context champion the establishment of an L-Acoustics University, a dedicated platform for professional learning and development across digital and physical touchpoints. 

  • Ensure the university offers a wide range of courses and certifications to enhance the skills and knowledge of our people and our extended community.  

  • Promote the university as a center of excellence for audio professional education (System technicians, System Engineers, Mixing Engineers, Creative Coders, …).  

  • Develop an efficient digital learning environment, developing from the existing solution using 360 Learning that comprises 15000+ internal and external learners and already delivers 12000+ certificates yearly. 

 

Curriculum Design and Development: 

  • Design a comprehensive curriculum roadmap and oversee its execution in partnership with the Education Operations department.  

  • Create new courses and programs, embedding industry-recognized certifications in continuing education programs.  

  • Establish a design framework for educator professional learning, ensuring continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.  

 

Program Assessment and Improvement: 

  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs, making data-driven improvements.  

  • Oversee program accountability, data collection, and performance analysis to ensure programs meet their objectives.  

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Community Partnerships: 

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with division directors, program sponsors, HR & People Development teams, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders, including L-Acoustics product end users, customers, and business partners.  

  • Develop community partnerships to elevate educational program offerings and support career development across L-Acoustics’ extended enterprise.  

  • Engage with LEAs, early learning providers, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and community-based programs to support professional development initiatives.  

 

Certification Management: 

  • Ensure compliance with L-Acoustics and international educational standards.  

  • Manage third-party program certifications, extending their validity and recognition beyond L-Acoustics’ extended enterprise.  

Team Leadership and Development: 

  • Lead and supervise the Education Experience team, promoting best practices in learning methods and technologies.  

  • Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to Education Program Designers across various topics, including Industry, Digital & AI, Human Skills, Business, and Sound.  

  • Oversee lecturers to develop expert knowledge on technologies and product usage, enhancing L-Acoustics’ expertise and reach.  

Operational Management: 

  • Manage the operational aspects of educational programs, including budget and resource allocation.  

  • Provide detailed operational reports to senior management, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.  

 

 

Skills & qualifications.

  •  Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, business or related field.  

  • Native or bilingual English.  

  • 10+ years of proven international experience as a Educational Programs lead or similar role.   

  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment methods and educational regulations.  

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.  

  • Ability to manage budgets and resources.
