Global Platform team focuses on the global, scalable platforms within Snowflake that helps external Enterprise customers manage their Snowflake footprint and internal engineers, 

Customer Support, and our account and sales teams manage Snowflake for our customers. Within Global Platform, the Manageability team is focused on helping large, external customers manage Snowflake at scale and more centrally as they grow their cloud footprint. Some of this longer term vision will require us to fundamentally rethink parts of our architecture and product objects. 

This role will help drive and turn into reality our 2+ year strategy on scaling Snowflake management, where you will learn about and influence the Snowflake product holistically. This team is tackling and absorbing not only how certain feature areas are intended to be used, but how they are actually being used and how that might affect the overall manageability, usability, and monetization of the product.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for how to manage Snowflake at scale and more centrally
  • Partner with engineering to define product specifications, design features, and deliver new functionality to customers
  • Define, set targets for, and track key performance metrics with data science team around organization and account management, customer profile, centralized operations, and managing at scale
  • Partner across technical program management, legal, marketing, finance, and support teams to ensure successful go-to-market for new product initiatives
  • Regularly engage with customers to gather product requirements and feedback through discussions, presentations, and preview programs
  • Help shape broader team and company product priorities and investments
  • Be an advocate for managing Snowflake at scale with regular presentations and talks at internal and external conferences 

OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, 5+ years experience with cloud products/services
  • Passion and ability to decompose ambiguous problem areas, strong analytical skills, and customer-focused mindset
  • Experience with designing from v0 to v1, as well as maturing a product area from v1 onward 
  • Proven track record collaborating on complex cross organization/teams and cross-functional projects, taking an idea from vision to specification to launch
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Bonus - Organization management and managing at scale with related cloud products/platforms (IaaS/PaaS)
