What you'll do...

As a Senior iOS Engineer you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced iOS applications for our organization. This role will require in-depth knowledge and experience with iOS development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Use your technical expertise to lead and mentor junior developers.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Resolve issues and bugs in a timely manner to ensure the smooth functioning of the applications.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand end-user requirements and use cases and translate them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
  • Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
  • Perform code reviews, suggesting improvements and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Understand and implement security and data protection measures.


What you'll bring:

  • At least 4 years’ experience building native iOS apps, testing, and shipping commercially available iOS apps.
  • Proficiency in Swift.
  • Experience with at least one iOS architecture: Reactive, MVVM, VIPER. Shipped one or more iOS applications which are still available in the App Store.
  • Technical lead for team
  • Played Extremely Significant Role / Lead in delivery of complex projects
    Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
