Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Recruiter to join the International Staffing Department.   This position will be part of the currently international-based team. Working hours and all others employment conditions will follow home country labor laws.

While interacting with hiring managers across multiple programs in multiple geographic regions, you’ll need to be fast on your feet, creative, confident, persuasive and willing to express your expertise around recruiting best practices.  Under the overarching direction of the Recruiting manager, you will be exposed to every level of the organization and play an integral part in maximizing a robust talent acquisition tool set, while working toward a goal of hiring the very best!

Key Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                                

  • Proactively manage the selection process including: requisition management, sourcing candidates, interviewing, generating offers and facilitating the on-boarding process for candidates.

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for corporate positions, performing extensive screening of hundreds of candidates weekly, vetting for culture, personality, fundamental technical skills and targeted competencies.

  • Review and prescreen hundreds of resumes within workday or other Applicant Tracking System, conducting Competency Based Pre-screen phone / face-to-face interviews.

  • Pipeline candidates utilizing online recruiting resources such as LinkedIn, and various local and global job boards

  • Create Hiring Manager Interview Guides and Feedback Forms for all corporate positions to assist with competency-based interviews.

  • Monitor progress for all program hires, ensuring completion of offer letters, and all contingencies.

  • Schedule and coordinate all site group interviews including arranging conference rooms / calls.

  • Have a strong understanding of the marketplace and pre-screen large quantities of candidates (worldwide) on determined pre-requisites.

  • Partner with other Recruiters and HR staff to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitate an effective high-volume search & screening process.

  • Build targeted marketing campaigns to attract key talent on an ongoing basis.

  • Work closely with Hiring team in providing staffing support to meet the key identified deliverables.

  • Work closely with Recruiting Manager on on-going, ad-hoc projects.

Education and Certification Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Marketing or related area is required.  Equivalent years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of education.

  • Two years of experience in a recruiting department preferred; other relevant experience may be considered.

  • Adaptability, working independently, time management and business acumen.

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Flexibility to travel and work across international time-zones.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and team skills.

  • Experience using MS-Office suite [Word, Excel and Power Point] is required.
     

Work Experience Requirements

  • Experience with Task Order staffing and DoS or DoD contracts a plus. Strong knowledge of government contract recruiting strategy and understanding of security clearances.

    •    Excellent written and oral communications skills

    •    Ability to speak, write, read and comprehends English 

  • Reasoning Abilities:  
    •    Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power point required
    •    Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and propose solutions
    •    Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
